Our Love Story
For those who didn’t know
In the summer of 2019, at King of Kings Lutheran Church, God brought us together. Tracy greeted Amber’s parents and began our journey. Our first date at Granite City sparked an instant connection, uniting us through shared passions for biking, hiking, and being Chiefs fans. Together, we made it through the tough times of COVID lockdowns.
February 11th, 2023, appeared to be an ordinary Saturday, with chores and tasks. Amber was out shopping and received a call from Tracy, altering the day’s trajectory. His unexpected suggestion led us into a jewelry store, exploring rings—a prelude to what was to come. We had evening plans at our favorite restaurant, Acre, for our Valentine’s Day celebration. When we returned to Amber’s home, Tracy seized the moment and proposed.
Originally planning an August 19, 2023 wedding, life’s unexpected turn came in the form of Tracy’s leukemia diagnosis. Our course shifted, and on May 6, 2023, with an intimate gathering of our families, we exchanged vows. Tap here to watch!
Tracy’s victorious battle against leukemia, emerging successfully into remission, marked a monumental triumph in our lives. Now, as we celebrate this tremendous milestone, having journeyed together for five years and joyfully married for one, we want to renew our vows. It’s our heartfelt desire to gather all our cherished friends and family to share in this celebration of life, love, and resilience.
