In the summer of 2019, Tracy greeted Amber’s parents after a Sunday morning church service and began our journey. After our first date, we learned of so many shared interests: biking, hiking, and being Chiefs fans. Together, we have enjoyed watching football games and traveling, but we also made it through the tough times of COVID lockdowns.

February 11th, 2023, appeared to be a regular Saturday with chores and errands. Amber was out shopping when Tracy called, changing those plans. After walking around a bit, he suggested that we “kick the tires” in a jewelry store, which led to looking at rings, a prelude to what was to come. We had evening plans at our favorite restaurant, Acre, for our Valentine’s Day celebration. When we returned to Amber’s home, Tracy seized the moment and proposed.

Our original plan was an August 19th, 2023 wedding, but life took a shocking turn with Tracy’s leukemia diagnosis. We learned the severity of his cancer and that he would be enduring a year of intense treatment, followed by a couple more years of maintenance treatment. So on May 6, 2023, with an intimate gathering of our families, we exchanged vows. Tap here to watch!

Tracy has bravely battled leukemia and has been in remission since May 2023! He is a survivor! GTGTG! As we celebrate his tremendous milestone and our five-year anniversary, we want to renew our vows! It’s our heartfelt desire to gather all our cherished friends and family to share in this celebration of life, love, and resilience.
