Yes! Children are more than welcome to join the celebration.

Due to venue capacity limits, we can only accommodate guests explicitly listed on your invitation. If your invite includes “and Guest,” you are welcome to bring a plus-one!

Please, no gifts or monetary donations. If you would like to mark the occasion, a card filled with your favorite memories, jokes, or blessings for our continued journey together.

The dress code is Casual Garden Party attire. We want you to feel comfortable, but please note the ceremony will be on grass, so choose your footwear accordingly! We highly recommend flats, wedges, or block heels so you don’t sink into the ground! Stilettos are not recommended.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to grab a seat.

Yes! Both events will take place at The Legacy at Green Hills. No mid-day travel required.

Yes. There are paved pathways leading from the parking lot directly to both the ceremony seating area and the restrooms.

Both! Here is what to expect:

  • The Ceremony: Outdoors on the lawn. There is very little tree shade, so you may want to bring sunglasses!
  • The Reception: Covered at the Pavilion. The space is shielded from the elements and equipped with ceiling fans to keep everyone cool.

We recommend checking the forecast before arriving, as you may want to bring a light jacket for the evening.

In case of rain, we will move the ceremony and reception inside the Pavilion. We are praying for sunshine!

We’ve got you covered! We will provide a comfort station stocked with sunscreen, bug spray, and hand sanitizer for all our guests to use throughout the day.

Yes, there is free parking directly outside the venue. We are also coordinating shuttle services from our preferred hotels.

We are having an ‘unplugged ceremony’. We kindly ask that you put phones away during the vows so our photographer can get the best shots. You can take as many photos as you want during the reception!

Absolutely. We will post a link to our digital gallery on this website a few weeks after the celebration so everyone can download the professional photos.

We will be serving a Kansas City BBQ buffet, along with a dessert table and open bar! Come hungry.
